What I collect

Three things, all because you chose to give them:

• Contact form submissions. Your name, email, message, and whether you ticked the subscribe box. Nothing else.
• Newsletter subscribers. Email address only.
• GDAQ assessment responses. See the section below — the one place this site keeps more than a message.

That is all. The site does not run analytics, does not place tracking cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not embed third-party trackers. Your visit is your own.

The GDAQ assessment

The GDAQ at /gdaq/take is the one place this site collects more than a contact-form message. Completing it stores: your responses as four lens scores, how long the assessment took, a one-way hash of your browser type (abuse prevention only), and the campaign tag that brought you here. No name, no account, no cookies.

If you ask for your report by email, that address is stored with your response and used to send the report. It is not added to the newsletter unless you separately opt in.

Scored responses become part of the GDAQ's research norm base — the pool of results every Field of Vision report is compared against, growing the base the instrument was validated on (1,300+ people). Norms are computed from scores alone; email addresses never enter the norm computation. Responses are never sold or shared. Write to hello@bricolas.com to have yours deleted.

How it is used + who handles it

Contact form messages travel through Resend to my inbox at hello@bricolas.com. That inbox is hosted on Google Workspace. I read your message, I reply. Resend stores the transactional email log; Google stores the message in my mailbox.

Newsletter subscribers are stored at Beehiiv, which sends the occasional notes when I publish. Beehiiv handles unsubscribe links automatically.

The site itself runs on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for its own abuse-prevention and uptime needs. I do not access these logs unless something is broken.

Each of those processors has its own privacy posture. The links above go to their policies if you want to read them.

Your rights

You can ask me, at any time, to:

• Delete your contact-form record
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter (every send has a one-click link; you can also just email me)
• Tell you what data I have about you
• Export it

Cookies and analytics

None. Bricolas does not run analytics tooling. The site sets no cookies of its own. If a future version of the site adds analytics, this page changes first.

Last updated: 2026-07-06. Added the GDAQ assessment section — the free assessment launched, and this page now describes what it stores and how the research norm base works.
